Narcissists In The Workplace | The Office Snitch

November 18, 2018

The office snitch is stressing me out!

Unfortunately, most of us have to work for a living in the United States. You would be hard pressed to find a workplace that doesn’t have at least one or two pathological snitches. These miserable snitches act as if they are being paid millions of dollars to snitch. Many of these tattletales would snitch on their own mother.

The problem with the majority of snitches is that outside of snitching they typically contribute NOTHING to the organization they are employed by. Chronic snitches are basically in the workplace to do as little work as possible and collect a paycheck. I believe all the snitching they do is to cover up this fact.

Snitches in the workplace are usually worthless though they have management fooled into thinking they are of significant value to the organization. And what about managers and supervisors that encourage snitches? They can’t be trusted either. Management encouraging snitching are typically lazy, incompetent sociopaths that need these ‘eyes and ears” flunkies aka snitches to “assist” them with management. Managers and supervisors that encourage snitching will stab you in the back in a heartbeat.

Chronic snitching in the workplace lowers morale and organizations that encourage this toxic behavior frequently have high turnover rates. Show me someone that snitches a lot and I’ll show you a liar. It goes without saying, these pathetic snitches are embellishing and/or telling outright bald-faced lies during their daily or weekly snitch sessions.

Who’s worse the flunkie snitch or the incompetent, snake in the grass managers and supervisors that encourage this foolishness in the workplace? With these dreadful type of individuals at EVERY workplace it would behoove everyone that works for a living to figure out a way to make a living outside of a typical job. Now more than ever is the time to be an entrepreneur.
